Abstract: The talk is devoted to the problem of finding the time instants of non-selective measurements that maximize the probability of a quantum transition in the Landau–Zener model. The Landau–Zener model describes quantum transitions in a wide class of two-level quantum systems. The direct numerical solution of this maximization problem is ineffective, since the target function has many local maxima and the search space is multidimensional. We will report about the development of effective numerical algorithms for solving this problem, which are based on analytical asymptotic methods.
