Abstract:
In 2000, Poland published an article: W. Narkiewicz, W. Więsław. Zenon Borewicz (1922–1995). Roczniki Polskiego Towarzystwa Matematycznego. Seria II: Wiadomosci Matematyczne XXXVI (2000), 65-72, devoted to the life and mathematical creativity of Professor Z. I. Borevicz, the dean of Mathematical-mechanical Faculty of Leningrad University in 1973-83. The report will provide extensive information about this article and comments of the author of report, who studied under Z.I. Borevich in 1962-64, and communicated with him in the last years of his life.
