Abstract:
Margarita Babkenovna Nalbandjan and her works on the history of mathematics in Russia
The report is devoted to the scientific activities of Margarita Babkenovna Nalbandjan (1931-2004). The following issues are expected to be considered:
- faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Rostov State University in the 50s of the XX century;
- M.B. Nalbandjan's works related to the history of the development of the Theory of Elliptic Functions in Russia;
- researches related to D. D. Mordukhay-Boltovskoy and the formation of Rostov-na-Donu mathematical school;
- collaboration with leading Soviet historians of mathematics;
- publications of recent years and the fate of scientific heritage.
