R. R. Mukhin

Abstract: The discovery of dynamic chaos is a remarkable milestone in the development of the science of the past century. This phenomenon is attracting close attention in various fields of knowledge. Chaos theory not only describes a wide range of phenomena in various fields of natural sciences and penetrates into the humanitarian sphere, but it has significantly influenced our outlook on the world. The very discovery of chaos has a long history. What features of the development of science led to the long and difficult path of the discovery of this phenomenon, which began at the end of the 19th century and stretched for decades? Finding answers to these questions is the subject of this report.
