An analogue of Jordan's lemma and a universal model for Volterra operators

Abstract: The decomposition was established of a Volterra operator into a quasi-direct sum of unicellular Volterra operators similar to Jordan matrix form. The well-known conjecture about the equality of the rank a Volterra operator to 1, which implies its unitary equivalence to an integration operator in the space L2 (0,1) with an appropriate kernel.
