Professor Mark Konstantinovich Gavurin. To the 110th anniversary of his birth

The talk is devoted to the scientific and pedagogical activity of M.K. Gavurin during the years of work at the Department of Mathematical Analysis, the Department of Computational Mathematics, and the Department of Operations Research of the Leningrad State University, as well as in the Leningrad Department of Mathematical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences. A review of works in the field of functional analysis, calculation methods, and mathematical programming are given.
