Lecture course "Differential equations and applications". Part "Problems of mathematical Biology". Lecture 1. A. S. Mozokhina Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow |
|||
Abstract: The lectures will consider the simplest models of mathematical biology, which nevertheless allow us to establish some qualitative characteristics of the processes under study, have significant historical significance and are used as components of other more complex and detailed models. In particular, the Malthus equation and the logistic equation for describing the growth of an isolated population, the predator-prey model and and SIR model will be considered. |
