Spectral mapping method in the theory of inverse spectral problems

The report is devoted to the study of nonlinear inverse problems of spectral analysis for ordinary differential operators. The main attention will be paid to the spectral mapping method, which is currently the most effective and universal tool for studying various classes of spectral inverse problems. A comparison of this method with the wave method created by V.A. Marchenko and B.M. Levitan will be given.
