Introduction to geometric control theory. L. V. Lokutsievskiy Steklov Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow |
|||
Abstract: In the lectures, I will try to explain how geometric control theory can be applied to various tasks, provide key results, and demonstrate them through illustrative examples. I will cover (1) classical results from the theory, such as Pontryagin's maximum principle and Filippov's theorem, (2) structure results on reachability sets, including the Rashevsky-Zhou and Krener theorems, and (if time permits), the Nagano-Susuman theorem, and (3) Subriemannian and Subfinsler geometric results. |
