Abstract:
We consider various quantum resources: (i) state-based resources such as coherence, entanglement, nonlocal spatial and temporal correlations, (ii) measurement-linked resources such as incompatibility and contextuality, and (iii) environment-induced resources such a non-markovianity. Such resources enable all kinds of quantum information processing tasks, such as quantum key distribution, teleportation, computation, state discrimination and randomness generation. We discuss different protocols for practical detection of resources of various kinds, including the witness-framework, device-independent self-testing and partial moment based schemes.
