Аннотация: We are going to look at advances in mathematics through history. These advances represent the greatest triumph of the human mind. Still they were mostly motivated by SIMPLE problems. For example, what is the ratio between the perimeter and diameter of a circle. What is the size of the Earth? Are there infinitely many twin primes (primes that differ by 2)? |
