Intrinsic metrics in polygon areas

We study inequalities relating the hyperbolic metric and intrinsic metrics in convex polygonal domains in the complex plane. The relationship between the conformal radius at an arbitrary point of a flat area and the distance from this point to the boundary of the area is also considered.
