Abstract:
In this talk energy loss of a heavy quark moving through quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is
discussed. Our discussion is based on the paper hep-th/0605158.
Three different
configuration of quark in QGP is considered. the first one is static quark that
holographically corresponds with static open string that hangs from boundary. the
second one is moving particle with constant velocity, but the holographic picture is
considered as straight string with out curve that is unphysical. The third one is real
profile of moving quark that losses its energy in QGP.
