Abstract:
Nevanlinna domains are such domains in the complex plane which are images of the unit disk under mappings by univalent functions admitting a Nevanlinna-type pseudocontinuation. This class of domain has appeared quite naturally in various problems of approximation by analytic functions. In the talk it is planned to discuss recent results about structure of boundaries of Nevanlinna domains obtained by the author, A. Baranov, Yu. Belov, and A. Borichev. All necessary concepts will be defined and discussed, and no special background is required for understanding the talk.
