Abstract: An analysis of the application of Kolmogorov-Arnold (KAN) networks in solving two problems of power electronics is presented. First, KANS were used to determine the charge level of lithium-ion energy storage devices. Secondly, they were used for preventive power management of electric furnaces. The test results showed that KANS are superior to recurrent LSTM networks.
