Abstract: I will discuss the properties of entanglement entropy of quantum fields in the Reissner-Nordström black hole and in de Sitter space. An explicit time dependence will be obtained for the entanglement entropy of finite regions in which the Hawking radiation of free massless Dirac fermions is collected, taking into account the contribution from entanglement islands. I will show the presence of a jump-like behavior of the entropy at small values of the charge of the black hole, as well as the absence of an influence of entanglement islands on the dynamics of the entropy at large values of the electric charge. For the static de Sitter space, I will demonstrate the violation of complementarity property and pure state condition of the entanglement entropy in the theory of massless fermions, and I will also show the presence of subleading saddle points in the generalized entropy corresponding to entanglement islands.
