Vanishing Theorems in characteristic $p > 0$

In this talk we will go through Deligne–Illusie proof of connection between the "Hodge to de Rham" spectral sequence and the Akizuki–Kodaira–Nakano vanishing theorem. Also we will see an easy counterexample to the classical Kodaira vanishing theorem in characteristic $p > 0$.
