Abstract: It is known that repeated independent application of random Steiner (or Minkowski) symmetrizations with probability 1 "rounds up" an initial convex body. In the talk it will be presented some results on estimates of rate of convergence to a limit ball. In case of Minkowski symmetrizations this estimate is optimal in order.
