On rhombus tilings

Motivated by the theoretic comprehension of quasicrystals, we introduce rhombus tilings and survey results around the following questions:
– Which rhombus tilings are aperiodic?
– What are random rhombus tilings and how do they look at?
– What is the structure of tiling spaces?
