Аннотация: Naphthalene-1,8-diol on superelectrophilic activation with aluminium halides smoothly reacts with cyclohexane and benzene to afford 8-hydroxy-1-tetralone and 8-hydroxy-4-phenyl-1-tetralone, respectively.
