Synthesis of N-acetyllactosamine-terminated oligosaccharides — fragments of glycoprotein O-chains

The pentasaccharide Galβ1-4GlcNAcβ1-6(Galβ1-4GlcNAcβ1-3)GalNAcαOR, its partial trisaccharides Galβ1-4GlcNAcβ1- 3GalNAcαOR and Galβ1-4GlcNAcβ1-6GalNAcαOR and the tetrasaccharide Galβ1-4GlcNAcβ1-6(Galβ1-3)GalNAcαOR were synthesised as spacered derivatives (R = CH₂CH₂CH₂NH₂) using a Troc-protected lactosamine glycosyl donor at the key stage.
