Recent developments in the numerical simulation of shallow water equations. III-boundary conditions and finite element approximations in the river flow calculations

This paper deals with shallow water equations applying to the river (channel) flow simulation. We investigate boundary conditions and propose numerical methods to approximate initial-boundary value problems arized. Some numerical results using the stabilized finite element approach are presented.
